We always like a challenge here at Freightlink. This June, the team will be taking on both the Race for Life Pretty Muddy 5k and 10k challenges on Moor Park in Preston, supporting Cancer Research UK.
Race for Life Pretty Muddy is a 5 kilometre muddy obstacle course, which includes scrambles over an A-frame, crawling through glorious mud and generally getting absolutely filfthy for charity.
The Race for Life 10K follows a (non muddy) winding route around Moor Park around the Serpentine Lake and Preston North End's Deepdale Stadium.
For the first time, women and men can both take part in the events too!
Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life is a series of events raising money for research into all 200 types of cancer. Over the past 20 years, more than 8 million people have taken part in the Race for Life, raising over £547 million to fund the charity’s life-saving work. But it does not stop there. We don't break records. We beat cancer.
We have a mix of abilities at Freightlink HQ so it's definitely going to be a challenge! Please support our brave team by donating a few quid on our Cancer Research UK fundraising page. Pick your favourite Freightlink team member and donate...
