We have been advised by the French Ministry of Agriculture that the temporary Covid-19 measures, that allowed the presentation of copies of health certificates for the control of products of animal and plant origin carried out by SIVEP will end soon. 

Indeed, the final extension of these measures provided for in Regulation (EU) 2020/466 expired on 1 September.

Given the short time frame for its implementation, the Calais-Boulogne-sur-mer SIVEP is granting a tolerance until Wednesday 15 September 2021 included.

Until this date, copies of the health certificates will be accepted, subject to a written commitment from the transporter or its representative (RDE/customs broker) to provide us with the originals within a maximum of 8 days.

As from 16 September 2021, the presentation of original certificates will become mandatory. 

If the original certificate is not then presented during the control, the vehicle will not be released.
