Times change, and so should your tachograph.
Businesses across the logistics industry adhere to strict time schedules. In our business (being masters at supporting our customers with freight ferry bookings) time is everything.
So, it’s important that we remind ourselves that the clocks are soon changing.
Yep. It’s that time of year again.
On October 30th 2022, the clocks will go back 1 hour.
But this doesn’t just affect your timetable or alarm clock. It is also vital that drivers remember to also change their tachographs to avoid possible violations.
A few months back, the DVSA announced that they would begin trialling remote tachograph monitoring technologies.
Staying in line with current regulations will help your business avoid potential criminal charges for improper tachograph usage.
*Please note, if you are using an analog tachograph, the clock will need to be moved 23 hours forward rather than back.
